be. free

i have spent my life telling stories
as a journalist and author, and more recently in filmmaking;
spearheading mindfulness programs
teaching others
how to harness the power
of their own unique stories…

writing allows me to make sense of the world,
and puts me in control of my own narrative:
moody, fearful or angry,
ecstatic, goofy or sexy.
i can simply
be.
me.

there is freedom in the acceptance of being,
and great joy.
for me, this is the gift of mid-life —
with a headful of silver to crown my journey thus far.
the site is a glimpse of that; and a peek at where I’m doing now.
everything else is everything else.
